From birth to death, dogs depend on us and the first few months of their life are crucial in the development of their independence and temperament. We spend many passionate hours devoted to shaping a well-rounded dog.

It it our number one goal to find the absolute perfect forever family for each one of our wonderful puppies. We raise our puppies in our home as part of our family. Our parent dogs are intelligent, loving, family pets with wonderful temperaments with completion of OFA and genetic testing. To ensure they receive the best start possible during those crucial first 12 weeks of life, we follow the Puppy Culture program. Our puppies receive early neurological stimulation during days 3-16 and engage in enrichment activities throughout their first weeks before being placed with forever families. Our puppies go home between 8 &10 weeks of age. As the breeders of these puppies, we will best match the correct puppy to your family, based on the puppies temperaments and your family's lifestyle. Our puppies come to you with age appropriate vaccinations, will be microchipped and health checked by our licensed veterinarian. They will be accustomed to basic grooming, such as baths, nail trimming, and ear cleaning. In addition, they will be litter box trained for easier housebreaking (this is not the same as being house-broken) and we begin basic commands (sit, recall). We also introduce crate training for an easier transition into their new home. On puppy pick-up day, we provide a professional photographer, at our expense, to capture the exciting day (COVID restrictions may apply) Your new puppy will also come with a lifetime of guidance and support from Golden Gang of Maine. All of the extra effort is really worth it!
